Punjab govt invites applications for subsidy on straw handling machines during kharif

Kapurthala, Aug 7 (UNI) The Punjab Government has invited applications till August 17 for subsidy on straw handling machines during Kharif 2020.
Disclosing this here Friday , Deputy Commissioner Kapurthala Deepti Uppal said Punjab Government would provide 80 per cent subsidy for Cooperative Societies / Farmers Registered Societies / Gram Panchayats / Farmer Producer Institutions and 50 per cent subsidy for private farmers. Submit your applications to the concerned agricultural offices by August 17.
She said in order to manage the paddy straw in the field itself, the auxiliary machines Super S. M. S, Happy Cedar, Paddy Straw Chopper / Shredder / Mulcher, Hydraulic Reversible M. Includes B, Plow, Zero Drill, Super Cider and field straw extractors like baler / rake, crop reaper would be distributed.
