Punjab DGP dedicates indoor sports stadium, modern library to police families in Ludhiana

Ludhiana, Aug 6 (UNI) Punjab DGP Dinkar Gupta on Friday dedicated a series of Police initiatives under Ludhiana Commissionerate including a state-of-the-art indoor sports stadium at Police Lines and 'Book Nook', a modern library space for police families and their children.
While throwing open a state-of-an-art Indoor Stadium-cum-Gymnasium located at Police Lines to the Police Personnel and their families, the DGP said that the major objective of this robust sports infrastructure is to maintain their health and fitness through sports and gymming.
He said that this stadium comprises World-class facilities including a carpeted Badminton Court, Yoga and Meditation room and Officer’s Lounge besides a Gymnasium equipped with all the latest work-out machines with an eye soothing view of the surroundings which will encourage Police Personnel and their families to remain fit and healthy.
