Police bans carrying sharp edged weapons in Jalandhar

Jalandhar, Apr 23 (UNI) To maintain law and order in Jalandhar city, Deputy Commissioner of Police Parambir Singh Parmar on Tuesday banned the carrying of any kind of sharp-edged weapons, baseball bat or any deadly weapons in the vehicles.
Exercising the powers vested under Section 144, Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, the DCP said that carrying of above mentioned things in the vehicles has been prohibited in the jurisdiction of Commissionerate police.
