Lucknow, July 21 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday virtually inaugurated Hindustan Unilever Limited’s (HUL) new factory and a distribution centre at Sumerpur in Hamirpur.
On the occasion in his virtual address in the presence of HUL CEO and MD Sanjiv Mehta and other dignitaries, the CM said, "Inauguration of this ultra-modern factory in Sumerpur marks the beginning of the prosperous and glorious future of the Bundelkhand region. Through investments, our motive is not only to realise PM Modi’s goal of making India a 5 trillion dollar economy, but also to create numerous employment opportunities for the youth."
He expressed gratitude to the entire team of HUL and said the dedication with which the company has worked for the development of Bundelkhand, even during the time when Covid-19 induced restrictions were in place, is commendable and an inspiration for everyone. "The fact that HUL chose to invest in Bundelkhand will certainly inspire others to follow," he said.
