In a joint statement issued from party headquarters on Friday, state core committee chairman Principal Budhram, Deputy Leader of Opposition Sarabjit Kaur Manuke, state SC wing president Manjit Singh Bilaspur and co-president Kulwant Singh Pandori, party spokesperson Rupinder Kaur Ruby and master Baldev Singh (all MLAs) said the Captain government, which had waived off a whopping amount worth Rs 10 billion to liquor barons and sand-and-gravel contractors under the guise of corona, was dragging its feet on giving Rs 21,000 to poor and Dalit girls since April 2019.
