Police bust international narcotic network, 3 arrest with 5kg Opium

Jalandhar, Mar 3 (UNI) The police here in Punjab has busted an international drug cartel by arresting three people and seizing 5 Kg opium from them.
DGP Gaurav Yadav said on Sunday that the drug cartel was backed by multiple smugglers using international courier service to target recipients in UK, USA, Canada and Australia.
He said FIR has been registered under NDPS Act and Investigation is on to establish backward and forward linkages. UNI GS SSP
