Pull up your Socks for Free, Fair and Peaceful conduct of Polls in State : CM

Ludhiana, Mar 13(UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Wednesday asked police officers to gear up for ensuring free, fair and peaceful general elections in the state in the coming months.
Chairing a meeting with the top brass of the police, Mann said smooth and hassle-free conduct of the polls are imperative so that the people can exercise their franchise freely. He said elections are a celebration of democracy and every effort must be made to ensure people participate in the polls without any fear.
He urged the police authorities to make elaborate arrangements leave no stone unturned to achieve the aim.
