HP: Swine flu cases jumps to 161, death toll to 20

Shimla, Feb 10 (UNI) With 16 fresh cases of Swine Flu detected in the state till Tuesday, number of H1NI cases have risen to 161 in the state, senior officer of Health Department said.
State Communicable disease and Surveillance officer Sonum Negi said that till Feb 10 out of 34 samples tested, 11 were found positive.
He said that so far 458 influenza patients are undergoing clinical trail.

Five more bodies recovered in Mandi’s Thunag and Seraj; Death toll reaches 85, over 30 still missing

Thunag/Mandi, July 8 (UNI) The death toll in the catastrophic July 1 cloudburst and flash flood incidents in Thunag and Seraj regions of Mandi district has climbed to 85, after rescue teams comprising the Indian Army, NDRF, SDRF and police recovered five more bodies.

Himachal: Journalist Sanjay Thakur passes away at 42
