Chandigarh, Oct 31 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra's clarion call of 'One Nation One Ration Card' (ONORC) Scheme was launched in UT Chandigarh by Governor of Punjab and Administrator, Chandigarh V P Singh Badnore Saturday during the celebrations of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas at Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh.
Mr Manoj Parida, Advisor to the Administrator, Chandigarh and Vinod P Kavle, Secretary Food & Supplies and Consumer Affairs & Legal Metrology, UT, Chandigarh and other senior officials were also present at the event.
The UT Chandigarh is the first UT to introduce the ONORC Scheme with integration of DBT.
