Dubai, Feb 23 (UNI) Virat Kohli has added another feather to his illustrious cap by becoming India''s most successful outfielder in One-Day Internationals (ODIs), surpassing Mohammad Azharuddin''s long-standing record for the most catches as a non-wicketkeeper.
Kohli, who now has 157 catches in ODIs, surpassed Azharuddin’s tally of 156, further solidifying his reputation as one of India’s safest pairs of hands on the field. The distinguished list also includes cricketing greats like Sachin Tendulkar (140), Rahul Dravid (124), and Suresh Raina (102). The former captain reached the milestone in style, taking a well-judged catch at long-off to dismiss Naseem Shah off Kuldeep Yadav’s bowling.
