India continues to grow and emerge as a global leader, says Sanmar Group Chairman

Shillong, Apr 3 (UNI) India continues to grow and emerge as a global leader, Narayanan Kumar, Chairman of The Sanmar Group, said on Wednesday.
“India has been fortunate to have been globally growing, with initiatives such as Digital India contributing to the country's growth, " he said addressing the 15th annual convocation of Indian Institute of Management (IIM)–Shillong.
While many countries are grappling with recession and other challenges, Kumar said, “India has been fortunate to have been globally growing, with initiatives such as Digital India contributing to the country's growth.”

Patna, May 7 (UNI) Despite all efforts of the Election Commission and other stalwarts to attract the voters to the booths to exercise their franchise, polling in the third phase of the elections in five seats namely Jhanjharpur, Supaul , Araria, Madhepura and Khagaria in Bihar had marginal increase of 1.42 percent compared to the second phase of the polling but was still 1.22 percent less than the last Lok Sabha elections held in 2019 in the same five constituencies.
