Severe air days in Delhi drop to 10 this winter, Centre tells Lok Sabha

India signs MOUs/Agreements for Digital cooperation with 23 countries

New Delhi, Feb 6 (UNI) The Government has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs)/Agreements with 23 countries for sharing or cooperation on India Stack/Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), primarily for replication and adoption of India's digital governance platforms, Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Jitin Prasada said in Rajya Sabha on Friday.

New Delhi, Feb 5 (UNI) In an attempt to control the menacing pollution levels in the National Capital Region (NCR), the Delhi government, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, is undertaking a pilot project on cloud seeding and has paid Rs. 37,93,420 to the IIT as the first instalment.

Govt promoting seaweed cultination for developing A&N islands as Blue Ecomony hub

New Delhi, Feb 5 (UNI) The Government is promoting seaweed cultivation, along with marine fish farming, as a key component for developing the Andaman & Nicobar Islands as a hub for Blue Economy, Minister of State for Earth Sciences, Dr. Jitendra Singh, said on Thursday. The Minister said in Rajya Sabha that the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research’s (CSIR) -Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSMCRI) have undertaken the project ‘Pre-feasibility studies and establishment of pilot-scale farming of commercial seaweeds in Andaman coast’.
