IMD warns of extremely heavy rain in Odisha as Bay system set to intensify into deep depression

Panchkula, Sep 20 (UNI) A low-pressure area over the north Andaman Sea and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify into a depression on September 21 and further into a deep depression a day later, triggering extremely heavy rainfall over Odisha and very heavy rain across several parts of central and southern India, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Sunday.
