Haryana: Two alleged cow smugglers injured in Nuh encounter; Two associates flee

Panchkula, Sep 20 (UNI) Two alleged cow smugglers, one of them carrying a Rs 3,000 reward announced by Rajasthan Police, have been injured in an early-morning exchange of fire with Haryana Police in Nuh district on Sunday, while two of their associates managed to escape under the cover of darkness, a police official said. The encounter took place at around 3:30 a.m. near Ghasera village, within the jurisdiction of Sadar Nuh police station, after the Crime Staff (CS) at Ferozepur Jhirka received specific information that suspected cow smugglers will transport cattle towards Rajasthan for slaughter through the Gurugram-Sohna-Nuh route.
