Director General of Police (DGP) Anurag said to ensure a peaceful polling process, 24 companies (around 2,400 personnel) of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) have been allocated to the state, and they have already rushed from different parts of Assam, soon after the completion of assembly polls on Thursday.

Jaipur, Apr 9 (UNI) The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday arrested a retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Subodh Agarwal in connection with the over Rs 960 crore Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) scam in Rajasthan.
The ACB arrested Agarwal in Delhi after he reportedly surrendered before a local court there.
