Two drug smugglers held in Ludhiana

Ludhiana, Aug 13 (UNI) Special Task Force (STF) Ludhiana Range nabbed two drug smugglers and recovered 5 kg 300 gram heroin, along with Rs 2.10 lakh drug money, from their possession in this industrial city, a STF source said, here on Friday.
STF DSP Ajay Kumar told newsmen that police got a secret input that Jagjit Singh and Harminder Singh, who runs a supplement shop in Dana Mandi, were going to supply heroin in BRS Nagar. Acting on the information, STF laid a check-point near Raghunath Hospital and nabbed them. On their search, Police recovered 800 grams heroin and a weighing machine from them.
After interrogation, police seized 4.5 kg heroin and Rs 2.10 lakh drug money from their residence in Salem Tabri. Police also impounded a car and a motorcycle used by the drug smugglers to supply the drugs.
