Tunnel leak threatens landslide: Report

Shimla, Jan 15 (UNI) The 180 MW Holi Hydropower project in ecologically frigile Bharmour sub-division of Chamba district in Himachal Pradesh threatens to cause a landslide due to a recent water leakage in a tunnel, a report by a pro-environment group warned on Saturday.
The Himdhara Environment Collective released a fact-finding report about landslides and damage caused to houses due to construction of the project.
The report, a copy of which is with UNI, said a tunnel testing triggered landslides, posing danger to homes.
