Teachers' recruitment: Dungarpur protestors put up demands before govt

Jaipur, Sep 26 (UNI) After violent protests by candidates of a teacher recruitment exam two days ago, which forced police to issue prohibitory orders and suspend mobile Internet services in Dungarpur, around 500 km south of Jaipur, the protestors put forth three demands before the government on Saturday.
Demanding filling of 1,167 general category posts with Scheduled Tribes candidates of 2018, they have also urged the withdrawal of the cases against them and release of some of the protestors.
The agitators said they will not clear the nearly 25 km stretch of the National Highway-8 in the Bichhiwara area of Dungarpur--where they are protesting-- until the demands are fulfilled.
