SP to construct grand memorial of Mulayam in Saifai

Lucknow, Oct 31 (UNI) Samajwadi Party (SP) will construct a grand memorial in the memory of party founder and former Defence Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav at his native village in Saifai in Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh.
Announcing the plan, SP president and Mulayam's son Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday said that foundation stone of the memorial will be laid on the birth anniversary of Netaji (Mulayam Singh Yadav. "Saifai was the dream of Netaji. He grew up there and started to struggle for the cause of the people from this place and rose to one of the top positions in politics," he said.
He said that former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam had great affection for Saifai. "The foundation stone of the memorial will be laid on the birth anniversary of Netaji on November 22. Efforts will be made to complete it by 2027. Senior SP leaders will be present on the occasion," he said.
