Shiva devotees to perform global Maha Rudrabhishek on Sep 11 for world peace

Pune, Aug 29 (UNI) To salute Swami Vivekananda for giving the message of peace and humanity at the world conference in Chicago on September 11, 1893, a city-based social organisation has organised a Maharudra Abhishek here on September 11 with a view to spread the message of world peace and get rid of terrorism.
Vayam Sanstha founder and organiser Gaurav Tripathi told reporters here on Monday that Rudrabhishek will be performed by one lakh Shiva devotees on September 11 at the city's Omkareshwar temple.
Tripathi said, "Swami Vivekananda in his address on September 11 gave the message of world peace by ending intolerance, exploitation, terrorism-free society, religious respect and humanity. In true sense, September 11 should be celebrated as 'World Peace Day'. On that occasion, the message of world peace should reach the whole world. For this purpose, Maharudrabhishek will be performed by one lakh devotees across the country. This virtual Maharudrabhishek will be a world record."
