Police advise hoteliers to inform strangers stay in rooms

Kakinada, Mar 19(UNI) The city hoteliers have been advised to keep the police informed of the strangers staying in hotel rooms without proper identity and also not to allot rooms to anti-social elements or unlawful activities.

At a meeting of the owners of hotels, lodges and restaurants convened on Sunday at the instance of the SP Ravindranath babu, the Kakinada sub divisional police officer Padala Muralikrishna Reddy has also advised the hotels, restaurants and fast food centers to observe strictly the timings of working during nights.

Man sentenced to 10 year imprisonment for attempting to murder wife

Kakinada, Mar 23(UNI) The Assistant Sessions Judge Pithapuram K Madhavi, while delivering her verdict on Thursday in a sensational case where a Railway employee attempted to murder his wife, convicted the accused Mummidi Subrahmanyam (47) and sentenced him to undergo imprisonment for ten years and pay a fine of Rs.5,000,police said.
