PM inspects model of Ayodhya Airport

Lucknow, June 3 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the exhibition organised at GBC 3.0 and showed keen interest in the model of Maryada Purushottam Sriram Airport in Ayodhya displayed by the Airports Authority of India (AAI).
The project in-charge Rajeev Kulshreshtha said that the construction will be done in two phases. In the first phase of the project a 2250 meter long and 45 meters wide runway for ATR-72 aircraft is being constructed. In the second phase, its length will be increased to three and a half thousand meters. Three aircraft could be parked at a time at the airport.
He said that flights will start from Ayodhya International Airport by March next year. The stall also displayed a small model of Ram Mandir made out of metal. The PM was delighted to see the Ram Mandir model.
