Srinagar, Aug 9 (UNI) Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday said that opposition parties in the country were not only facing the BJP but also the might of an authoritarian government that was "weaponising every agency be it NIA, ED, CBI to ensure an opposition-free India".
"The predicament Nitish Kumar and opposition parties find themselves in isn't just because they are facing the BJP. Instead, they are facing the might of an authoritarian government that's weaponising every agency," Mehbooba Mufti said in a series of tweets.
The PDP President said Jammu and Kashmir has been “butchered and disempowered unconstitutionally” and the damage was not restricted to only political parties.
