IDSA-Shoolini University launch centre of excellence for direct selling

Solan, Jun 19 (UNI) In a unique initiative, Indian Direct Selling Association (IDSA) and Shoolini University jointly launched a ‘Centre of Excellence for Direct Selling in Academics’ (CEDSA) that impart a year-long PG Diploma in Direct Sales starting Academic year 2021-22. CEDSA will be India’s first ‘Centre of Excellence’ for Direct Selling.
Inaugurating the centre jointly, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Rajinder Garg and Education Minister Govind Singh Thakur said that the state government was laying emphasis on providing job oriented education and in this direction 'Centre of Excellence for Direct Selling in Academics' established by Shoolini University, Solan would prove a better platform. Thakur remained connected through video conferencing on the occasion of the launch while Rajinder Garg was present in the university on this occasion.
CEDSA will be the second such centre in the world and the first in India and this centre will help in strengthening India's position in the field of direct selling.
