Developing Naimisharanya Dham on lines of Ayodhya is priority of Govt : Yogi

Sitapur, Oct 1 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adiatyanath on Sunday said that developing Naimisharanya Dham on the lines of Ayodhya is the priority of the government and said that there was no dearth of funds for the development of Naimish Tirtha.
The CM, who reached Chakratirtha of Naimisharanya Dham on a one-day visit, had darshan, offered prayers and performed havan as per the rituals during his visit. After this, he visited the ancient Bhuteswarnath temple and Maa Lalita Devi temple.
Besides, Yogi performed cleanliness shramdaan at Chakratirtha along with the saints, mahants and priests of various monasteries and temples of Naimish Teertha who came from all over the country.
Wearing masks while sweeping, the CM and other sages and saints also gave the message of vigilance towards personal hygiene and health. Earlier, during the conversation with the saints and saints, he urged them to maintain cleanliness and ensure that monasteries and temples are completely plastic-free.
This was Yogi's fifth visit to Naimish Tirtha, the holy abode of 88,000 illustrious sages including Maharaj Manu, Ved Vyas and Maharishi Dadhichi, after taking charge of the state of UP. The saints praised the unprecedented development in Naimish Tirtha during their long meeting with the CM.
Saints, mahants and priests of various temples who came from every corner of the country expressed special gratitude to the Chief Minister and said that Naimish Teerth holds an invaluable place among the Sanatani devotees of the entire country and its beauty has been enriched by the development works carried out in this government.
They also invited Yogi to visit their respective temples and monasteries.
Addressing the saints and priests, the CM said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a call to pay homage to the Bapu (Mahatma Gandhi). "It is our responsibility to make cleanliness a mass movement instead of making it a one-day programme. Cleanliness is the first necessity of life.
Especially in places of pilgrimage, monasteries, temples and every place that people visit, we have to be sensitive towards cleanliness," he said.
He said that the government was committed to restore the Vedic and mythological glory of this region. Yogi pointed out that earlier the place was neglected and denied development despite being located near the capital Lucknow.
Yogi said, "Today, work is going on at a fast pace to provide electric bus service and helicopter service as well as to widen the roads here. However, the development that has happened here so far is only a small glimpse of the larger picture. A lot of work still remains to be done."
He said, "The entire country wants to come to Naimisharanya today. After the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, the number of devotees will increase further. Therefore, we have to create a conducive environment, which can be achieved only with cleanliness. Along with this, we have to ensure that the visitors and tourists coming here are treated well," Yogi added.
