DDC chairperson Safina hoists tri-colour, says J&K youngsters believe in peace

Baramulla, Aug 15 (UNI) Asserting that the youngsters of Jammu and Kashmir believe in peace and tolerance, District Development Council (DDC) Baramulla Chairperson Safina Baig on Sunday said that the youth of present era believe in democracy and want to adopt all such means and measures that lies within the purview of democratic framework.

“The youth needs appropriate platforms so that their empowerment in terms of sustainable opportunities is achieved,” Safina Baig said after hoisting the national flag on the occasion of 75th Independence Day celebration organized at District Police Line (DPL) Baramulla.
