Cancer patient allegedly dies by suicide in SKIMS

Srinagar, May 26 (UNI) A patient, who was diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing treatment, allegedly died by suicide at S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) on Wednesday.

Official sources said that panic gripped SKIMS when a person was found hanging in his room in a Sarai, which has been established by the institute to cater to cancer patients. “The patient, a resident of Baramulla, was immediately attended by doctors, but he had died,” they said.
