Woman Councillor succumbs to COVID-19 in Telangana

Hyderabad, Jul 6 (UNI) A woman Councillor died of COVID-19 in Sangareddy district of Telangana even as the Coronavirus deaths in the state is inching towards the 300-mark.

The Councillor, who had tested positive for COVID-19 a few days ago succumbed to the virus while undergoing treatment at the Chest hospital, according to the district health officials on Monday.

The contagious COVID-19 has claimed 296 lives in the state so far and the total number of

COVID-19 cases had reached a whopping 23,902 till Sunday.
