With blessings of Shakumbhari Devi, Yogi kicks off poll campaigning from Saharanpur

Saharanpur, Mar 24 (UNI)Uttar Pradesh chief Minister yogi Adityanath has initiated election campaigning for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) here on Sunday after seeking blessings of Shakumbhara Devi and pledging for the second term of Narendra Modi government.
Addressing the election gathering here CM Yogi said that with the power given by public in 2014 Lok Sabha election BJP formed the government at center in leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He claimed that in past five years PM Modi and in two years state government has done enormous development works.
"You could assess how much Rahul Gandhi knows about our culture or rural areas as he said that if his party comes to power then he will grow sugar plant," Yogi said.
Yogi also attacked the Congress party over the Pulwama attack with claiming that during the UPA regime terrorists were offered biryani when in Modi regime they are getting bullets in return.
Attacking the Mahagathbandhan, he said, "Mayawati and Akhilesh Yadav during their rule did not have time to visit Saharanpur but I have visited this place six time in my two year tenure".
" We have given a State university here while several development work are underway here, " the CM said with adding that scarcity of electricity, which was burning issue in the past regime has now being given round the clock.
Mentioning about how the majority community was ignored and even the Kanwar yatra was not allowed to be taken out in this region, he said, " But now things have changed and the majority community can freely worship and bring out Kanwar yatra due to the efforts of the BJP government".
