Shimla, Oct 23 (UNI) Confusion prevailed in the ruling Congress on the last date of filling nominations as veteran Congress leader Vidya Stokes and party official nominee Daleep Rathore filed papers form Theog Assembly segment at Theog on Monday. Meanwhile, party candidates Harbhajan Singh Bhaji and Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh's son Vikramaditya filed their nomination papers in Shimla. Vikramaditya submitted papers in the presence of his father and the Chief Minister, mother Pratibha, and sister Aprajita with much fun and fair. The party also got major blow when Harish Janartha, a close confidant of Mr Virbhadra Singh, filed his paper as Independent and rebel candidates defying party ticket allotted to Mr Bhaji by the party high command. Mr Janartha is vice-chairman of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation and claimed that he is the faithful worker of the party. However, after becoming rebel, he said the party high command did not apply its mind and denied him the ticket. Mr Bhaji who is former MLA and senior Congress leader also filed nomination in the afternoon as his candidature was supported by I N Mehta while nomination of Mr Vikramaditya was supported by the Chief Minister himself.
