Vij inaugurates newly renovated Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Park

Chandigarh, Apr 11 (UNI) Haryana Home, Urban Local Bodies and Health Minister, Anil Vij on Sunday inaugurated the newly renovated Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Park, built under the Amarut scheme at a cost of Rs.25.80 crore on nearly 17 acres.
Congratulating the public on receiving the gift of the park, Mr Vij said that the one of the dirtiest places in Ambala Cantonment has become the most beautiful place in the area today. Nobody used to pass through this area during the day and today the whole city is eager to come to the park, he added. In view of the demand of the people, it was decided to inaugurate this park so that people can enjoy it.
The Home Minister said that this park was constructed at a cost of Rs. 30 lakh by former Chief Minister, Chaudhary Bansi Lal with the help of people.
