Vice President Venkaiah Naidu pays last respects to departed Union Minister H N Ananth Kumar

Bengaluru, Nov 13 (UNI) Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, top leaders cutting across the party lines and thousands of mourners paid his last respects in the city on Tudsday to the departed Union Minister and popular BJP leader H N Ananth Kumar, who died due to cancer at a private hospital in the City on Monday.
Mr Naidu, placed a wreath on the mortal remains of Mr Ananth Kumar at National College Grounds and consoled family members including Mr Kumar's wife Ms Tejaswini and their two daughters.
After the body was kept at the Basavanagudi residence of Mr Kumar throughout yesterday, it was moved to Jagannatha Bhavana, the BJP headquarters located at Malleswaran in the city and later to National College grounds. Besides top political leaders, prominent persons, seers, thousands of people queued up to have the last glimpse of Mr Kumar considered as one of the top political leaders in Karnataka and they paid homage to the departed leader.
