Vaishno Devi yatra breaks 5 years record, 86 lakh pilgrims pay obeisance in 2018

Jammu, Jan 2 (UNI) Shri Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrimage broke all five year record as around 86 lakh pilgrims paid obeisance at the world famous cave shrine in 2018 situated in Trikuta Hills of Katra in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
A Shrine Board official said that around 86 lakh pilgrims, which is the highest in past five years -- visited Vaishno Devi shrine in 2018.
“Around 86 lakh pilgrims paid obeisance till midnight of December 31,” he said adding that the figure is highest in last five year.”
