UP: Man shot dead by unidentified miscreants in Jaunpur

Jaunpur (UP), April 16 (UNI) A 45-year-old man was shit dead by unidentified miscreants in Sikrara area of Jaunpur district here in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that the incident took place in Rithi village where Anees Khan was shot by unidentified miscreants in the evening. "He was rushed to the district hospital where doctors declared him dead," they said.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Dr Ajay Pal Sharma reached the spot along with heavy police force and inquired about the incident. "The deceased is said to be supporter of former MP Dhananjay Singh," sources said.
