Lucknow, Jun 30(UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government has acquired 5,261 hectare land, which is 80 per cent of the total requirement for its Rs 40,000 crore "Ganga Expressway" project, Chief Minister Adityanath said here on Wednesday.
"People are happily providing land for the project. So far, 5,261 hectare land has been purchased from 63,362 farmers. This meets 80 per cent of the total requirement," the Chief Minister said.
