UP:3 die, 2 injured as jeep collides with dumper

Rae Bareli (UP), Feb 5 (UNI) Three people died and two were injured when a jeep collided with a dumper in Bachhrawan area of Rae Bareli district here in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, police sources said here.
Police sources said the incident took place around 4 am when the jeep collided head on with the dumper near Nand Khera village on Maharajganj-Gurbuxganj road. "Anugrah Pratap, Rajendra Singh, Gappu, Raj Kumar Singh and Suresh Agrahari were injured in the accident and were taken to the community health center," they said.
Police sources said Anugrah, Rajendra and Gappu were declared dead at the CHC, whereas Raj Kumar and Suresh were referred to the trauma center at Lucknow. "All the deceased were residents of Fatehpur district and were returning from Lakhimpur Kheri after attending a marriage function. The bodies have been sent for post mortem examination," they said.
