TTD denies allegation of prasadam being prepared by Christian agency

Tirupati Dec 29 (UNI) The Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam (TTD) management denied allegation that the preparing of sacred 'prasadam' at the hill shrine was handed over to the JB Mathew of Kerala, which is manged by Christians.
In a statement here on Sunday, the TTD management said that the sacred Tirupati Laddoo Prasadam of Sri Lord Venkateswara Swamy is being prepared exclusively by Sri Vaishnava Brahmins in Tirumala since several decades.
The news, which is going viral in social media, is absolutely fake and ill-intentioned to malign the reputation of Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams by some vested interests. The TTD would lodge criminal case against those who spread this fake news, the TTD management said.
