TSCHE directs pvt degrees colleges to stop admission process

Hyderabad, Aug 6 (UNI) In the backdrop of complaints received from parents and student organisations over admissions and collecting huge fees from the candidates by private degree colleges, the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) on Thursday directed all the private degree colleges to immediately stop the admission process.
In a statement, the TSCHE said council or universities have not issued any notification for admitting candidates into respective degree courses for the academic year 2020-21.
It directed all the private degree colleges in the state under DOST or Non-DOST system to follow the academic schedule which will be issued by the universities or TSCHE.

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 26 (UNI) Kerala reported 21 deaths due to COVID-19 on Saturday pushing the death toll to 656 whereas 7,006 people tested positive to the virus taking the tally of infected to 2,22,330.
