TRS condemns Smriti’s comments against KCR

Hyderabad, July 3 (UNI) Condemning Union Minister Smriti Irani’s untutored comments against Chief Minister K.Chandrashekar Rao (known as KCR), Telangana State Planning Board Vice-Chairman B.Vinod Kumar on Sunday requested her to know the facts right before criticizing KCR, who has immense knowledge about the constitution of India.
Smriti Irani, while speaking to newsmen during the BJP National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting on Saturday, lashed out at the Telangana CM for not receiving PM Narendra Modi at Begumpet airport on his visit to the state and said that his (CM) actions were not as per the protocol and she termed it "political buffoonery".
She said that CM had insulted both an individual and an institution. "He has flouted a constitutional obligation towards a constitutional post" she alleged.
