Three drown while immersing ashes in river in Nagpur

Nagpur, Sep 19 (UNI) Three persons drowned while immersing the ashes of their relative in Kolar river under jurisdiction of Khaperkeda police station in Maharashtra's Nagpur district, police said on Saturday.
According to police, the tragic incident took place in Nanda village here and the deceased identified as Nayan Kailas Yedkar (20), Harshit Raju Edwan (21) and Akash Rajendra Raut (25), all residents of Babulkheda locality here.
Police further informed that Akash was drowning and the other two tried to save him but they too lost their lives in the bid.
