Pratapgarh, May 22 (UNI) Three youths were killed after they drowned in separate police station areas of this district in Uttar Pradesh, police spokesperson said on Wednesday.
The spokesperson said that the first mishap occurred at the Mangapur village in the Antu police station area when Shailendra Pratap (16), who was bathing in the Chamraudha river, which passes near the village, drowned.
In another incident which occurred at the Ajhara village of the Lalganj area, Nanku (14), who had gone to catch fish in a pond, drowned.
