Thane police solves attempt to murder, murder cases; 6 arrested

Thane, Dec 10 (UNI) With the arrest of six people including a gang leader, the city police on Monday claims to have detected two cases -- one of attempt to murder in the city limits and other of murder under the limits of Rural Police.
An offence under sections 387, 115, 120B, 511 of Indian Penal Code and also sections 3 and 25 of the Arms Act and sections 37(1), 135 of the Bombay Police Act has been registered against all the arrested accused at the Narpoli police station under Bhiwandi.
All the six accused were produced before a local magistrate who remanded them into police custody up to December 15, police said.
