Textiles Minister Irani has no right to remain in central leadership : Laxmi Chawla

Amritsar, Oct 24 (UNI) While criticising Union Textile Minister Smriti Irani for her controversial statement over Sabrimala Temple issue, former Punjab minister and senior BJP leader Laxmi Kanta Chawla on Wednesday said that the Union minister has not right to remain in central leadership.
In a statement here, Ms Chawla said that the Union minister should have thought about it, before making such a statement.
During the Young Thinkers Conference organised by British High Commission and Observer Research Foundation in Mumbai, Ms Irani had said that women do not go to a friend's house with blood soaked sanitary pad how could they visit a temple.
