Telangana CM satisfied with progress of Kaleswaram project

Bhoopalpally, May 19 (UNI) Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Sunday expressed happiness for bringing the Kaleswaram project nearer to completion at a rapid speed.
This project located in Kaleshwaram village in Bhoopalpally district, in Telangana state, is said to be the world's biggest irrigation project that is set to end water woes of the state and also the costliest irrigation project undertaken by any state of the country so far.
The project aims to create a new ayacut of 18.25 lakh acres in 13 districts and stabilisation of existing ayacut of 18.82 lakh acres.
