Telangana CM asks public representatives to work 24x7 for new acts implementation

Hyderabad, Sep 24 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Thursday evening reiterated that public representatives and officials should work 24x7 hours for the implementation of the new Acts, which were people centric and were brought in for the welfare of people.
Mr Rao, who held a review meeting at Pragathi Bhavan here with public representatives from the municipal areas and Mayors, has made it clear that the Telangana State government’s aim was to ensure that the poor should not suffer due to the implementation of the new Acts and the fruits of the Acts should reach the poor and the last mile.
The CM urged them to get themselves involved at the ground level in the process where non-agriculture properties like Plots, Flats, houses which were not yet registered online were being registered now.

Hubballi, Oct 25 (UNI) In what can be described as an innovative use of the general passenger coaches, for the first time, the Hubballi Division of the South Western Railway (SWR) converted a Rake (Complete Train) consisting of general second class coaches as a Festival Season Parcel Train to carry a chargeable weight of ten tonnes of goods per wagon from Vasco – Da- Gama to Kalameshwar in Nagpur Division, according to a press release issued by the SWR here on Sunday.
