Swine flu cleans its first victim at IGMC, toll mounts to three

Shimla, Jan 24 (UNI) State premier Hospital Indra Gandhi Medical College witnessed the first death due to Swine flu on Thursday as a 64 yrs old patient who belonged to Gagal area of Mandi died due to deadly fever, Sr. Medical officer Dr Janak said.
He was one of the two patients who was tested positive and got hospitalised on January 21 at IGMC.
Dr Janak said that five patients were declared positive for the swine flu, two from Shimla one each from Mandi, Kullu and Solan .
