The Day was celebrated by School Children, Youth and enthusists in Hyderabad-Karnataka Region by performing at various places in Kalaburagi, Bidar, Raichur, Yadgir Districts.
Thousands of people, especially youngsters and school children, among others, participated in mass yoga camps organised in different places across the region. In Kalaburagi, school children and youths made a beeline to the Chandrashekhar Patil Stadium to participate in the mass yoga camp organised by the district administration. Another impressive gathering
was witnessed at the Sharanabasaveshwar College campus ground where the camp was organised by the Patanjali Yoga Kendra, BJP, RSS, and other Sangh Parivar organisations. BJP MLA Dattatreya Patil Revoor, in his brief address at the inaugural function highlighted the importance of yoga and its benefits to human kind .
