Start Up policy for young entrepreneurs in UP

Lucknow, Mar 30 (UNI) Toeing the line of Narendra Modi government at the Centre, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has announced to roll out “Start Up policy 2016” under which the state will provide help to young entrepreneurs to set up their business.
“This policy will be applicable in whole of state including Noida, Greater Noida and Trans-Yamuna areas. Government will help only those schemes that would increase e-governance and provide employment to the youth,” government spokesman said here today.
The government has agreed to pay 5 per cent interest of the bank loans up to seven years for the loan of Rs 1 crore. Similarly, government proposes to waive off stamp duty of land or house purchase for start up business provided the operation starts within three years. Government has also proposed concessions in payment of Provident fund. It also proposes help for companies worth Rs 100 crore if they expand business by 25 per cent in next two years. Besides, it also announces rebate for the companies if they purchase land from government sector.
