Special drive ib trains to nab unauthorised travel

Kozhikode, Nov 5 (UNI) As part of a nation wide drive against unauthorised travelling of passengers in the coaches meant for divyangjan(Differently abled) passengers and men travelling in ladies coaches, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Palakkad division has conducted a special drive on Wednesday.
A press note of the division here in Thursday said as many as 71 special drives were conducted on unauthorised travel in "divyangjan' and apprehended 26 defaulters and action taken against them under section-155 of Railway Act.
The RPF also conducted as many as 91 inspections to check crime against ladies and gents travelling in ladies coach and apprehended 10 defaulters during the drive and action taken against them under section-162 of Railway Act, the press note added.
