Moradabad (UP), Apr 16 (UNI) A case has been lodged against Samajwadi Party (SP) candidate from Moradabad Ruchi Veera and four others on charges of giving provocative speech, police sources said here on Tuesday.
Police sources said that the case against SP candidate Ruchi Veera, district president Jaiveer Singh Yadav, former city president Shane Ali alias Shanu, Babar Neta and Mohammad Gani at Mughalpura police station on the complaint of Sub-Inspector Irfan Ali.
Police sources said that on April 14 during a public meeting held at GIC ground while accusing the police of preventing the workers and public from attending the event, Ruchi Veera allegedly asked the police administration to be in their limits and not work as Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) agents.
